New SUPERNet Student Enrollment Instructions

STEP 1 – LOG INTO YOUR SVS EMAIL ACCOUNT

***ATTENTION WHITE OAK ISD STUDENTS – This step does not apply to you. Please skip down to step 2.***

Students will be using a SUPERNet issued Google-based email account to communicate with the director and instructor. SVS email accounts are created using the following naming convention:  firstname.lastname@wostudent.net (Example john.smith@wostudent.net).  Your email username will be set up exactly as it has been submitted in the registration. If there are dashes or apostrophes, those are left in place. Only spaces are removed due to account creation limits. If you’ve made multiple unsuccessful attempts to access your account, reach out to your counselor to verify the spelling accuracy of your name they provided.

Please follow the instructions below: 

1. Go to https://mail.google.com. 
2. If you are not signed into an account, enter your SVS email address (see above) at the sign in screen. If you are logged into a personal or school account, click on your account profile in the top left and select “add another account”.
3. The default password is supernet.
4. After you log in, you will be forced to change your password.
5. Write your password down for use throughout the semester.
6. Once you are sure this account is working, you may continue the registration process. This account should only be used to communicate with teachers and staff of SUPERNet Virtual School.

STEP 2 – LOG INTO MOODLE

You will be taking your class on a system called Moodle. We’ve recently updated Moodle to allow you to sign-in with your SVS email account.

1. Go to https://moodle.sprnet.org/login/.
2. Click the red “wostudent.net Google Login” button.
3. After you’ve clicked the button, sign in with your SVS email address and password (from step 1 above).

STEP 3 – ONLINE ORIENTATION

All first-time SUPERNet students MUST complete online orientation before they can be enrolled into their academic course. Orientation only needs to be completed one time. Please make sure you are signed into Moodle before proceeding. 

1. By default, signing in with your SVS email account will automatically enroll you into orientation. You can access the course from the Moodle menu on the left side of the homepage or visit https://moodle.sprnet.org/course/view.php?id=99. 
2. Complete online orientation and pay close attention to the directions. ALL online orientation course requirements MUST be met before you will be enrolled into your academic course(s).
3. Once all online orientation course requirements are met, the principal will enroll you into your academic course(s). This is not an automatic process. Do not attempt to enroll yourself into your academic course, it will not allow you to do that.
4. Once you have completed all of the steps above, bookmark the main site so that you can easily return to your courses. SUPERNet Virtual School, (https://moodle.sprnet.org).

Returning SUPERNet Student Enrollment Instructions

STEP 1 – LOG INTO YOUR SVS EMAIL ACCOUNT

Returning students do not need to complete online orientation again, however there are requirements that must be met before enrollment into a course. Please follow the steps below:

1. Go to https://mail.google.com. 
2. Log into the SUPERNet email account that was created for you. (firstname.lastname@wostudent.net)
3. The password has been reset to supernet. 
4. Once you are logged in, send an email to the principal (principal@wostudent.net) with the following information:
1. Make the subject of the email RETURNING SVS STUDENT.
2. Your legal name.
3. The school you attend.
4. The course(s) you are enrolling in.
5. The name of your counselor.
6. Once this email is sent, the principal will reply and let you know you have been enrolled into your academic course(s). Please allow up to 24 hours for this process to be completed.

Students can ONLY be registered by local school districts. Please contact your student’s counselor to start the registration process.

SUPERNet I and SUPERNet II school districts register students via shared document only.  Please reach out to Kyle Adams at principal@wostudent.net if you are looking to enroll students into SUPERNet Virtual School.  

TxVSN school districts please click here to enroll your student in a SUPERNet Virtual School course. Please make sure you are signed in at the top-right of the page. If you need assistance registering a student via the TxVSN catalog, please email TxVSN at txvsncentral@tea.texas.gov.
