PowerOn Texas

Texas Education Agency developed a program called PowerOn Texas to help facilitate change in school districts. This is what they had to say about the program:

When thinking big and striving for lasting change, there can be many obstacles to overcome. This was very apparent when documenting the stories of the seven pioneering ISDs—and how they each found a way to successfully navigate administrative, geographic, budgetary, and other challenges. However each district or classroom might POWER ON, only you can make the commitment to ensure that your students will have the tools to compete in a 21st century world. You are invited to get inspired and to find ways to integrate 21st century teaching and learning practices in your classrooms starting today.
